The distribution and conservation status of Knautia dipsacifolia (Caprifoliaceae, Dipsacales) in Hungary

It was proven during the herbarium revision work that confirmed data of species Knautia dipsacifolia in Hungary only came from a few stream valleys volcanic (andesite) mountains Matricum (Visegrád Mts, Börzsöny Mátra Mts) characterised with cool microclimate. All other country were found to be false reporting. Not single individual has been species, which is currently threatened extinction and disappearing Hungarian flora, any formerly mapped places occurrence last three years. Similarly mountainous relict K. seems one victims climate change Carpathian Basin, by increasingly frequent periods drought rising average temperatures.
